Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication plans that support the Foundation's strategic objectives.
• Drive awareness and engagement for Foundation programmes, campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and community impact projects.
• Collaborate with programme managers, executive leadership, and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned messaging and communication objectives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the Foundation's brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
• Create audience-focused content for various communication platforms, including: Social media, Press releases, Newsletters, Annual and integrated reports, Foundation website, Internal communications
• Write, edit, and proofread communication materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the Foundation's brand voice.
• Develop impactful stories that showcase programme outcomes, beneficiary experiences, and community impact.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline will be advantageous.
• years' experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a similar role.
• Grade 12 / Matric certificate or relevant tertiary qualification / NQF equivalent.
• Relevant practical experience in a Communications Specialist Mr Price Group or related functional position.
• Demonstrated technical, operational, or industry knowledge suited to the role.
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
