Key Responsibilities

• : Capture new hires, banking details, salary changes, and terminations into the payroll systems within agreed SLA deadlines. Processing of Termination documentation as required.
• : Verify employee overtime, and track annual, sick, or family responsibility leave etc
• : Assist with calculations for statutory deductions and filings like UIF and PAYE.
• : Handle routine internal and external payroll questions from employees and managers.
• : Support month-end reconciliations and reporting tasks
• Payroll Projects: Contribute to Payroll projects when required

Requirements

• Teritary qualification Businesss Management / Human Resources Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience in an HR admin role with specific experience in a payroll administration environment
• Experience with time and attendance systems is required
• Experience working on ESS Knowledge of relevant, South African legislation (BCEA, UIF, SDA, PAYE, WCA)
• Accounting/Payroll knowledge sufficient to perform journal entries and payroll account reconciliations
• Payroll administration
• Payroll Processes and procedures
• Payroll queries handling
