Minimum Requirements

• ABET Level 3, minimum Grade 9 or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read and write.
• Cleaning experience will be an advantage.
• Exposure to a public health or hospital environment will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of infection control, occupational health and safety.

Key Duties

• Clean hospital areas by mopping, scrubbing, dusting and wiping surfaces.
• Wash windows and walls according to the work schedule.
• Clean and replenish bathrooms and keep wards/units hygienic.
• Empty bins, wipe spillages and report faulty equipment.
• Assist with collecting food trolleys and serving beverages when required.
• Carry out other reasonable cleaning duties delegated by a supervisor.
