Minimum Requirements

• ABET (Grade 1-9) or equivalent qualification
• No previous experience required
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, scrubbing and lifting
• Basic knowledge of cleaning materials and hygiene practices
• South African citizen or permanent resident

Key Duties

• Render general cleaning services in offices, wards, kitchens and public areas
• Sweep, scrub, wax and polish floors; dust and clean furniture
• Empty and clean waste bins; replace toilet paper, hand towels and soap
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and walls
• Maintain cleaning equipment and request supplies as needed
• Report broken equipment and maintain a clean work environment
